MS 2 Autonomous Practical Investigation

MS 2 are expected to do an autonomous practical inquiry in Science, on a topic of their choice, using the scientific method to plan and write up their investigation.

Goals:

Learning partners are expected to:

  1. formulate a problem to investigate practically,
  2. do background research to base the experiment on,
  3. form a testable hypothesis,
  4. identify and control the variables that will influence the investigate,
  5. plan a safe and fair investigation choosing appropriate equipment,
  6. record, interpret and analyse experimental data.

This investigation will be assessed based on your written report and mentor observation during the practical investigation in the lab.

Please contact or make an appointment with me if you have any questions about this investigation.
